“Everything that man adds to nature is surplus to requirements, including himself”. In Galicia, nature means its sea, its land, its light, its climate, its grapevines. For Eulogio Pomares it is also a declaration of intentions. Galicia means freedom.

A great deal – although not all – of Eulogio Pomares's creativity has taken place in the Salnés Valley. This is an area of extensive gently rolling hills overlooking the sea between the Arosa and Pontevedra estuaries. It is justifiably known as the Albariño heartland, although there is also room for other grape varieties such as Caiño Tinto, Loureiro Tinto and Espadeiro.
